‘Namma Kudla’ channel will be organising its 7th annual ‘Goodu Deepa’ competition on November 7 in Kudroli temple at 4 pm as part of Diwali celebrations.
Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday, Kadri Navneeth Shetty informed that the lamp making competition ‘Goodu Deepa Pantha’ this year will be held under three categories- traditional, modern and model making, where the winners and the first runner ups will be awarded with the gold medals.
The ‘Namma Kudla Prashasthi’ will be conferred on Bhoja Suvarna for his contribution to theatre and films while photographer ‘Yajna’ will be awarded with ‘Chaya Chitra Ratna’ and Nayana Krishnapura with ‘Prathibha Puraskara’ for securing first rank in Mangalore University post graduation examinations.
