Theatre workshop

Logos Theatre is organising 'Selves, Masks, Performance' - a theatre based workshop on self-exploration from November 18. The duration will be for five Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.

The programme looks at the concept of the self, or the many selves that we slip into in performance and in everyday life, and tries to deal with concepts of 'role', the wearing and uncovering of 'masks', and the question, 'what is the essential me?'.

It also examines the meaning of 'performance ', 'doing', 'act', and 'action'.

Facilitated through exercises and activities drawn from various performing traditions, eg. Western, Indian, and Japanese, as well as freely expressive movement, the workshop is intensely physical in nature, and tries to explore and examine emotional and psychological states through actions of the body.

The last date for registration is November 11. For further details Call 9880966313/9886527471, or e-mail logos.theword@gmail.com
