Craft mela
Concern India Foundation, as a part of its community development initiative is organizing a 'Mela' called "Utsav 2007" inviting Grass Root Level Organizations, Self Help Groups, Rural artisans from various parts of Karnataka to showcase their products at the St Aloysius Ground, Assaye Road, Cox Town, Bangalore on Saturday, November 3.
Creativity workshop
Creativity Unlimited, Center for Learning, located at 21/2, Cubbon Road, will be conducting four month-long creativity development workshops for students from November 2.
The workshops for students in the age group of 7-13 years and 14-17 years will be on on public speaking, elocution, creative writing and drama.

Theatre workshop
Logos Theatre is organising 'Selves, Masks, Performance' - a theatre based workshop on self-exploration from November 18. The duration will be for five Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.
The programme looks at the concept of the self, or the many selves that we slip into in performance and in everyday life, and tries to deal with concepts of 'role', the wearing and uncovering of 'masks', and the question, 'what is the essential me?'.
It also examines the meaning of 'performance ', 'doing', 'act', and 'action'.
Facilitated through exercises and activities drawn from various performing traditions, eg. Western, Indian, and Japanese, as well as freely expressive movement, the workshop is intensely physical in nature, and tries to explore and examine emotional and psychological states through actions of the body.

Laugh out loud
After 40 houseful shows of their popular comedy ‘Heegadre Hege?’, Kriyative Theatre is coming up with yet another comedy, based on the writings of Kannada humourist, T.Sunandamma, by the same team of artistes and technicians.
The new play ‘Aadaddella Olithe..?’, scripted by Sunder, is also designed and directed by Pramod Shiggaon.
Songs, written by K.Y.Narayanaswamy, have been set to music by Gajanana T Naik and lighting designed by Muddanna Rattehalli.
Apart from Sunder and Laxmi Chandrashekar, the cast includes well-known theatre and television artistes, Ramakrishna Kannarpadi, Vidya Venkataram and Shilpa Rudrappa.
The play will be premiered at Rangashankara on November 2, 3 and 4 at 7.30 PM. (There is a matinee show at 3.30 pm on Nov 4).
