 Three of the five Indian players in contention made the quarterfinals of USD 10,000 ITF grass court event in Lahore after winning their second round matches here.

Seventh seed Vivek Shokeen defeated Taipei player Huai-En Chang 6-3, 6-4 while third seed Sunil Kumar Sipaeya easily beat Nai-Zheng Yu of China 6-4, 6-1 on Wednesday. Also advancing to the last eight stage was fourth seed Divij Sharan, whose Iranian opponent Mohammed Mohazebnia retired after losing the first set 6-4. Ashwin Vijayragavan and Yannick Nelord campaign ended in the event.

In doubles, the Indo-Pak pair of Aqeel and Sipaeya reached the final beating second seed Indian pair of Divij and Ashutosh Singh 7-5, 6-3.
