The entertainment-cum-news channel Amoggh has tied up with Namma Mysore.com and has formed a web portal to stream news in video format.
With this, Amoggh has become the first cable channel to beam local video content on website, for viewers across the world. The channel hopes to upload live content of Dasara happenings by 2008.

Namma Mysore, a website with complete with credible information on the City, its history and statistics was set up by a group of volunteers. The site has seen about 12 lakh visitors so far.
The organisers said the objective of the tie-up is to help Mysoreans who have settled in foreign countries connect with the happenings in the city.
Dial-up
The site and the streaming video can be viewed even on dial-up connections. Clarity of sound and picture is much better on broadband connections, according to the organisers.
District Sessions judge Shetkar Subhash inaugurated the event. Biligiri Ranganath of Amoggh welcomed the guests while Manu Shivayanamatha who set up Namma Mysore proposed vote of thanks.
