ING Investment Management India unveiled the ING global real estate fund, the first open ended Fund of Funds (FoF) scheme for Indian investors that offers access to global property markets.
The scheme will primarily invest in the Cayman Islands registered ING global real estate securities fund that seek to provide investors with diversified returns comprising income and capital appreciation over time, said Vineet K Vohra, MD and CEO, ING Investment Management India.
The fund, he said, has delivered over 15 per cent growth over a two-year fold. The minimum application amount to invest in ING’s global real estate fund is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. The minimum additional purchases of Rs 1,000 in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. The scheme that opened on November 20, closes on December 14.
The fund, he said, aims to offer an investor returns that are better than a fixed income product but with lower volatility than an equity fund.
“This product diversifies across 21 countries and invests in commercial properties including offices, shopping malls and hotels,” Mr Vohra said.
