No development in Kunigal taluk, laments BJP leader
Tumkur, DHNS:
BJP leader B Sureshgowda has seriously flayed the local MLA, for his style of functioning.

At a BJP workers meet, which was held in Lingapur village of Hebbur hobli recently, the leader strongly criticised the MLA.

He said, the current MLA from Kunigal constituency had invited the chief minister thrice to visit their place. However, inspite of all this, the development of the constituency is totally nil.

Infact, the MLA should explain to the people, how many times he had discussed with the chief minster regarding the development of Kunigal. How many developmental works have been implemented, by bringing pressure on the Chief Minister, he questioned.

Instead of undertaking developmental activities in the taluk, the MLA has invited the CM, just for the sake. The area had remained totally backward. Meanwhile, the BJP is committed to the development of Kunigal, he stated.
Mr Sureshgowda stated that atleast now, the people should wake up and vote those leaders who really strive hard for the region. And not vote for those who do not implement any works at all. In order to create awareness among the people, the BJP workers should begin rural-level awareness programmes. All the leaders and workers should chalk out programmes in this direction, he added.

As a BJP candidate, he had contested the general elections, last time, and had won a total of 26,000 votes. And in order to strengthen the BJP in the taluk, he had implemented several programmes. The strength of BJP was increasing day by day in Kunigal taluk. Several people were joining the BJP, Mr Sureshgowda added.

Minority vote bank

Even the minorities were impressed by the BJP, he said.  They were also joining the party in large numbers. For the first time, the BJP had won nine seats in the Kunigal CMC.

Thus, by doing so, a new history had been created by the BJP in Kunigal. Several gram panchayats in Kunigal taluk had BJP-supporting administrations, he added. Several people joined the BJP on the occasion. MPS Mallikarjunaiah inaugurated the programme.

Former president of Tumkur Taluk Panchayat N Narasimhamurthy, President of District Mahila Morcha Tara Chandrashekhar, President of the Gram Panchayat Ramesh, Sheshakumar, member of the Gram Panchayat Bettaswamygowda, Narayanappa, Govindappa, Siddagangappa, Hanumanthaiah and others were present on the occasion.
