Alcohol trader H Devaraju from Huliyurudurga has alleged that the police have falsely implicated him for manufacturing illicit liquor after a raid conducted on an illicit liquor manufacturing unit in Keelara village in Kunigal Taluk, .

He was not involved in any trade of illicit of ‘seconds’ liquor, he said, adding that he is in no way connected with the unit on which the raids were conducted. He alleged that he had been implicated in the case falsely, and has requested the police to withdraw the chargesheet against him.
