Madras Engineer Group scored a 3-2 win over Controllerate of Inspection Electronics in the State Association Cup volleyball tournament at the Sree Kanteerava stadium courts here on Wednesday. This was the Army team’s third win and they also entered the Super League. MEG took the first set 25-17, but their rivals won the second. MEG claimed the third 25-21 but CIL took the fourth 25-22. MEG took the decider 15-10.

Karnataka State Police also recorded their third win with a 17-25, 25-10, 25-23, 25-18 win over Indian Telephone Industries. KSP, CIL and ITI also entered the Super League.
