The first general body meeting of the Turuvekere Cosmopolitan was held on Wednesday. The meeting was presided by former MLA S Rudrappanavar.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr Nagaraju said, the club should stress more on the health aspect of the members. It should organise more activities concerning health.
Chief Promoter G R Rangegowda explained about the Cosmopolitan City, a dream project, which is proposed to come up in a 30 acres of land, in the extension area of Turuvekere, to the club members.The members of Cosmopolitan unanimously decided to meet on December 9, on Sunday at 3 pm, and appoint the members for the Executive Board of the Club.
Former MLA S Rudrappa expressed that, more than the quantity of numbers, the quality of numbers was very important, while choosing the members.
Congress worker H Mahesh, BJP leader Muniyuru Murthy and Janata Dal (Secular) leader Danigoudaru, Dr Govindappa and Club Advisor Kondajji Vishwanath, Nagaraju from Kolala, S Kumaraswamy, Narasimhaurthy, D J Rangaswamy, advocate Rajashekhar and Muddegowda were present at the meeting. Moodalagiriyappa of SBM Bank also spoke on the occasion.
