Ragasree Sammelanotsava

Sri D Subbaramaiah Fine Arts Trust is celebrating its 15th Ragasree Sammelanotsava from November 30 to December 2 at Sri Vidya Auditorium, Our School, Bangalore.

While Vidwan Mysore S Mahadevappa will be the guest of honour, Vidwan HK Narayana, Vidwan M Kodandaran, Smt Lakshmi Chandrashekar, Smt Radha Sridhar will be special guests in the programme.

As part of the function, Sri TK Govinda Rao will be conferred with the title Gandharva Vidyanidhi and Sri Mysore S Mahadevappa with Lalitha Kalashraya. Programme schedule: The inauguration session  is on November 30 and it will start at 5.30 pm.

The Instrumental ensemble by Geetha Ramananth and Party is also on November 30 and will be at 6pm.
Lecture demonstrations  will be held on December 1 and will be at 3 pm. There will be Rattai Pallavi Presentation by Dr Hamsini Nagendra, ‘Music during Wodeyar’s rule in Mysore’ by Meera Rajaram Pranesh and ‘Music in Sanskrit Kavyas’ by Dr Shatavadhani R Ganesh.

Geya Rupka by Sangita Kalaratna Neela Ramgopal and disciples (6.15pm). The valedictory function  is on December 2.

The function will start at  10am; Bharatha Natya by Kumari Nayana Somaryaji and party  will be performed at 5 pm, Classical Dance Recital by Smt Prathibha Prahlad and party is at 6 pm.
