Flute recital

Shri Rama Kala Vedike will be organising a Hindustani flute recital by Sameer Rao (disciple of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia) of Mysore, on November 25 at 10 am. The programme is at Ananya, 91/2, 4th main, Malleshwaram.

Vocal recital

Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha is organising a vocal recital by Amrutha Venkatesh on November 24 at 6 pm at Purandara Bhavan, 8th Main Road, HAL II Stage (Behind Indiranagar Club). She will be accompanied by L Ramakrishnan (violin), Arjun Ganesh (mridangam) and G Omkar (ghatam).

Carnatic vocal

Rajamahal Vilas Sangeetha Sabha is organising its montly music concert with a carnatic classical vocal recital by Vidyabhushana accompanied by M S Govindaswamy (violin) and M R Sainath (mridangam) on November 25 at 5.30 pm. It will be held at Raghothaman Memorial building, above post office, Sanjaynagar, RMV 2nd stage.

Sree Madwadiraja Aradhana Trust is organising the anniversary celebration of Vadiraja Kala Bhavan and Muthuswamy Dikshitar’s day with a concert by T N Seshagopalan on November 25 at 10 am at Vasudeva Gana Mandira, Vadiraja Kala Bhavan, Akshaya Nagar, Bannerghatta Road. H K Venkataram (violin), C Cheluvaraj (mridangam) and M A Krishna Murthy (ghatam) will be accompanying him.

Hindustani concert

Shruti presents Hindustani vocal recital by Anagha Bhat on November 25. The event will start at 5.30 pm at Kalashree, 966/26, Opp ESI Hospital, 3rd Block, Rajajinagar. Raghavendra Nakod (tabla), Satish Kolli (harmonium) will perform.

The Bangalore Sangeet Sabha is organising a Hindustani classical recital by Bharathi Pratap on November 23 at 6.30 pm at Sewa Sadan, 14th cross, Malleshwaram (opp Malleshwaram Ladies Association). She will be accompanied by Vyasamurti Katti  on the harmonium and M S Kiran on the tabla.            

Painting exhibition

Crimson, the art resources has organised an exhibition of recent paintings by Azis T M and Murali Cheeroth from November 21 to December 19. The paintings are on display at the Hatworks Boulevard, 32 Cunningham Road.

Samasthi is presenting the Kannada play “Saafalya” by T P Kailasam directed by Manjunath L Badiger and Satish at Rangashankara on November 23 at 7.30 pm at Ranga Shankara, J P Nagar.

No Scope Production is presenting an English play, “Creeper”, written and directed by Ram Ganesh Kamatham on November 24 at 7.30 pm and November 25 at 3.30 pm and 7.30 pm at Ranga Shankara, J P Nagar.

Bharatanatyam

Drishti Art Centre is presenting “Nrityarpana”, an evening of Bhartanatyam performance by the disciples of Anuradha Vikranth on November 24 at 6.30 pm at Sreegandha Palace, Bellary Road.

Photography expo

Industree is organising, “Waterborne”, the second solo exhibition of photographs by Vivek Mathew. The expo will be held  from November 22 to 28 at Industree, No 84, 16th C Main, Koramangala 4th Block in the City.

Whistling concert

The Bangalore Chapter of Whistle India is  organising a whistling concert  on November 24 at 7 pm.  Hindi film songs can be whistled by the participants.

The event will take place  at Shivarathreeshwara Centre, JSS Educational Complex, 1st Main, 8th Block, Jayanagar.
