Sobha Restoplus
Sobha Developers Limited (SDL), recently announced the opening of its first exclusive Sobha Restoplus showroom in Basavanagudi through its franchise GV Associates.
Sobha forayed in the retail business with ‘Sobha Restoplus Spring Mattresses’. Sobha Restoplus is designed taking into account that the comfort levels of people differ from individual to individual. The product would be manufactured in-house, at the company’s 3,60,000 sq ft unit located in Bangalore. The production unit has a capacity of manufacturing 200 units of spring mattresses per day.
In the first phase of the project, Sobha Restoplus Spring Mattresses has been launched in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka and are available in 30 variants depending on five different kinds of springs, thickness and textures used. The spring mattress comes in three different formats based on the feel of the mattress:
Siesta-Hard, Snooze-Medium, and Slumber-Soft.
Snooze, Siesta and Slumber are further classified into Economy, Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Premium—Bonnel springs of flawless quality and invariable consistency, made from a high carbon steel spring wire, form the core of the mattress and through use of springs with smaller diameters, the mattresses provide great adaptability to various body postures through support and flexibility.
The mattresses have been developed after having been subjected to an Endurance Test. A Cornell Type Mattress Tester from Leggett & Platt of US has been ordered specifically for this purpose to computer-simulate the wear and tear of the warranty period of the spring mattress before it is launched. This is the first time ever in India, where a spring mattress as been launched after an Endurance Test. An order is fulfilled within just 48 hours after it has been placed in Bangalore. The efficient team at Sobha Restoplus is capable of producing and delivering mattresses of all sizes within 72-hours of the order placement.
Italian ‘Soilmec’ in India
Soilmec Foundation Equipments India, recently announced an aggressive strategy to make inroads into the Indian market. Soilmec has sold 20 units in the past ten months of its existence in India and has a portfolio of more than 12 rigs to be delivered in the next two months. With the industry worth Rs 2,40,000 crore, growing at the rate of 7-8 per cent per year, the company expects to make huge inroads in the market.
