A contest between former champions Delhi and holders Mumbai always brings out the best from both teams players and the case should be no different when the two outfits clash here from Friday in the four-day Super League Ranji Trophy tie.
Both the teams go into what promises to be a humdinger with eight points each to their credit and the winners, either outright or on first innings, would take handy advantage in the race to the two semifinal spots from Group A.
The visitors, with the return of Virender Sehwag — who will lead the team — and Gautam Gambhir as well as the availability of lanky pacer Ishant Sharma, seem to hold a slight edge, though Mumbai at home can be a handful for any opposition.
Sehwag and Gambhir are to replace Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Tehlan from the eleven that played in Delhi’s last tie.
