Siemens, on Thursday, announced that it has a posted a net profit of Rs 308.62 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 136.75 crore in the comparable quarter last previous fiscal, showing a jump of 125 per cent.

Siemens MD J Schubert said the company posted a total income of Rs 2242.44 crore whereas the same was at Rs 1563.32 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006. The Company’s PAT stood at Rs 596.54 crore for the year ended September 30, 2007 compared to Rs 360.10 crore for the year ended September 30, 2006. Total Income was Rs 7825.33 crore for the year ended September 30, 2007 compared to Rs 4648.61 crore for the year ended September 30, 2006.

The audited consolidated results of the group for the year ended September 30, 2007 showed a PAT of Rs 692.85 crore whereas the same was at Rs 391.69 crore for year ended September 30, 2006.
