Jana Jathre to arrive in Turuvekere on Dec 3
DH News Service Turuvekere:
B S Yeddyurappa will be arriving to Turuvekere on December 3 and will be addressing the people as part of his 'Jana Jagruthi Sabhe'.

Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa will be arriving to Turuvekere on December 3 and will be addressing the people at the open air theatre at 10.30 am, as part of his “Jana Jagruthi Sabhe,” informed former MLA and former chairman of the State Handlooms Corporation M D Lakshminarayan.

Speaking to media persons here on Friday, he said, the State BJP Unit, in the first phase of its “Jana Jagruthi Yathre,” has decided to cover six districts in the State. The yathre will begin from November 26 and cover the entire State by December 6.

Expose them

The yathre is proposed to expose JD (S) and the true colours of Mr Deve Gowda and his sons. It will also create awareness on how the JD (S) played foul and deceived the BJP. It also proposes to show the entire drama played by the JD (S) in the last few days, right from the beginning.

Mr Lakshminarayan said, on December 3, Mr Yeddyurappa will arrive to Turuvekere town, from Hassan at 10.30 am. He will be given a warm welcome in front of Satyaganapathi Asthana Mantapa and later on, he will arrive at the open air theatre and address the public.

Participation

Mr Anant Kumar, Mr Eshwarappa, Mr C T Ravi, Mr Shrinath and all the office-bearers of the BJP from all round the district and State, will also take part in the event. More than 25,000 people in the taluk are expected to take part in the event, he added.

He said, all those who had left the party, all those who would like to join back the BJP, all those who were fed-up of Congress and the JD (S), all those who wish to join the party for the first time, all those who wished to leave the other parties and join the BJP, were all welcome. Former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy had alleged that Mr Yeddyurappa had sought Rs 5 crore to join the JD (S).

If the allegation holds truth, then why did not Mr Kumaraswamy make the allegation before? Why had he recalled it now? Just because the BJP has decided to expose the Gowda family, he was searching for allegations which were not true at all, Mr Lakshminarayan added and said, by doing so, the people would not appreciate it.

Member of the Zilla Panchayat Ramesh, member of the Taluk Panchayat Siddalingaiah, Taluk BJP President Renukayya, Secretary Hemachandra, Krishnamurthy, Aralikere Shivaiah, Dombaranahalli Basavaraju, Machenahalli Ramanna and several other BJP leaders were present on the occasion.
