Cruz, sister to play porn stars in video
Actress Penelope Cruz, who most recently appeared in the Spanish movie Volver, is all set to play the role of a porn star along with her sister Monica, reports IANS from London.

The two have agreed to star in a video to accompany their rock star brother Eduardo’s new album Cosas Que Contar. She said, “We’re going to be playing porn stars.”

Blair practised love scenes
Actresses Selma Blair and Stana Katic got intimate before actually filming a lesbian love scene for their new movie, reports IANS from London. Stana said, “We rehearsed our love scene quite a bit in a private room together. We both looked at the bed, looked at each other and walked into the room and went at it. As a kisser, I would say Selma was very titillating. It was my first time kissing a woman and I had a great time with her. But I reconfirmed to myself that I’m 100 per cent heterosexual.”

Dickinson slams Jolie’s performance
Janice Dickinson, who co-wrote the movie Gia 10 years ago, slammed Angelina Jolie for her performance in the film, although the actress won four awards for the role, reports IANS from London.

Jolie’s portrayal of supermodel Gia, whose career crashed when she contracted HIV and eventually died in 1986, shot the actress to fame but Dickinson is disappointed with the film, reports thesun.co.uk.

‘Queen married in a Catholic church’
There were red faces at New Zealand’s Government House after an official press release suggested Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II — head of the Church of England — married in a Roman Catholic church  60 years ago, reports AP from Wellington.

Britain’s constitutional rules bar monarchs or their heirs from becoming members of the Roman Catholic church or marrying them. The gaffe occurred when Governor General Anand Satyanand on Tuesday congratulated the Queen and husband Prince Philip on the occasion of their diamond — 60th — wedding anniversary in a public statement.

Padma denies she was unfaithful
Padma Lakshmi has denied that her marriage to Salman Rushdie ended because of her infidelity, reports IANS from London. Lakshmi had filed for divorce from Rushdie in July after a three-year marriage and was rumoured to have cheated with Ted Forstman, former suitor of the late Princess Diana. But Lakshmi denied that she was unfaithful, according to contactmusic.com.

She said, “Salman is the greatest love of my life. We really tried to work it out. I wish I could tell you exactly why it ended, but there was no ‘That's it’ moment. It was just like slowly getting very hard. There was no third party. I wasn't mean to his kids. There was no infidelity.” However, a source told Vanity Fair, “Lakshmi and Forstmann are dating.”
