Group Art show

Six highly talented artists are joining hands on a single platform– Conversation with Colours, a painting exhibition at Time and Space Gallery. The event will be conducted by Anju and Baba Sehgal in association with Prasad Bidapa and Renu George from December 1 to 8 from 11 am to 7 pm.

Dhaneshwar Shaw, one of the six artists of the event, is a Master of Fine Arts from the College Art at New Delhi. He has received many awards including Civitella Raniery Residency (Italy), the National Award for Painting etc.

Jagannath Paul, a Fine Arts graduate, is also a recipient of many awards like the Governor’s Award and Camlin Award. Madhu Sharma is next to participate in the event. A recipient of many awards, she has finished National Diploma and MA in Art. Ramesh Kumar, another participant, is a post graduate in Fine Arts and a recipient of many awards including MF Hussain Award. Another artist, Shampa Sirkar Das is a product of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. The list ends with Vijay L Dupatre, a graduate in Applied Art and a recipient of VV Oak and Mahakosh Kala Parishad Awards.

Salsa camp

The India Salsa Club and the Lourd Vijay's Dance studio are hosting Edie, the Salsa Freak, from November 29 to December 2, for her famous Bootcamps. The Beginners Bootcamp will be on December 1,  9 am to 5 pm. Styling and Musicality Bootcamp will be on December 2 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Edie has been teaching the Bootcamp syllabus to dancers in over 50 countries with enormous success.  She has a well deserved world class reputation for her Bootcamps. The Beginners Bootcamp is also for the absolute novice that doesn't know a thing about salsa.

Vedic hawan

Maharshi Sadafaleo Vihangam Yoga Sansathan is organising a 251 kund vedic hawan for world peace and a meditation camp at the Bangalore Palace Grounds on November 25. It will be conducted by spiritual master Sadguru Swatantradeo ji Maharaj, who will also teach Vihangam yoga - a simple technique of meditation, when practiced regularly, claims to enable one to experience eternal bliss.

Vihangam Yoga Sansthan is a world wide establishment with over two million members and 300 centres. Entry is free.
