Varadaraj alias Vadda is a slum king and ready to take up any ‘deal’ for money. He is a pukka local boy and often utters the word ‘Maacha’ which is well known in Bangalore. I needn’t tell you that he is also rowdy and rude but he has a ‘good’ heart.
By the way, Kavya ( Soumya) is the girl who steals his heart. Of course, she doesn't accept his proposal in the beginning as she was in love with another boy. Probably, the proposal scene is the main highlight of the movie where in he expresses his feeling like a die-heard lover. Dialogue writer Anil kumar has used all his talent in this scene. Circumstances reveal that Kavya’s beloved doesn't deserve her love. As usual, she longs for Vadda realising that Vadda’s love is a pure one. This sums up the movie ‘Orata I love you-unbelievable love story’. Will she get him or not, watch out for it. The narration is extremely fast in the beginning that you find it difficult to make out what is happening on the screen for the first ten minutes. Fortunately, the story slowly picks up and reaches a watchable stage. But, the element of violence becomes an obstacle in appealing all section of people. Surely, it should have been avoided as it is not a new concept for Kannada audience. But, the director Shree’s effort is evident in some scenes.
Prashanth, debutant actor, is a perfect match for the role Vadda as his mannerisms and way of delivering dialogues is impressive. But, it has nothing new to offer as it’s a hotchpotch of several Kannada films with a slight change. G R Shankar, music director, has composed few good tunes. It’s for the one who gets pleasure in watching a masala film.
