The Finance Dept has approved Health Dept’s proposal for the appointment of 825 new doctors, said Basavaraju, Health and Family Welfare Commissioner, on Friday. Speaking at the ‘National Pharmacists Week-2007’ organised by the Karnataka State Pharmacists Association, he said appointment letters for 500 pharmacists would be issued within two months.
