The Unlawful Activities Tribunal for Deendar Anjuman has asked Karnataka to file the affidavit by December 7, this year.
The Tribunal met in the Delhi High Court premises, on Thursday, and gave the dates to all the four affected States —Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Maharashtra and members and office bearers of the banned organisation to file the affidavits.
The Tribunal will be holding its hearing in Bangalore on December 18,19 and 20. The Tribunal headed by Justice Mukul Mudgal of Delhi High Court reviews the ban on Deendar Anjuman every two years after it was banned in 2000 by the Centre for their alleged involvement in the serial church blasts in the four states.
Following investigations into the serial blasts, 40 persons including 7 Pakistanis were arrested.
