Disabled children are blessed with unique talents. If trained properly, they can perform on stage without inhibitions.
This was evident at a cultural festival organised by the Physically Handicapped and Senior Citizens Welfare Directorate on Thursday, to mark ‘World Disabled Day’ which falls of December 3. Disabled children presented a variety of programmes, on the occasion.
The Bal Bhavan was packed with children between 6 to 18 years. Kids dressed in colourful dresses danced to the tunes of Kannada and Hindi film songs. Songs were sung in different languages and group dances were performed. On November 28, sports day would be organised for them at the Kanteerava stadium. For more details call on (080) - 2657 7411.
