More than 13 lakh employees of Indian Railways will decide the fate of railway unions across the country from November 26 to 28.
To decide the fate of railway unions, including the Railway Men’s Union, Employees’ Sangh and Bharat Railway Mazdoor Sangh, 13 lakh railway employees will vote for their favoured union.
Elections will take place in all the 16 zones across the country but not in the six production units. In Karnataka, 31,700 Railway employees will exercise their franchise.
There will be 56 polling booths across the State. In Bangalore, 9,137 will cast their vote at 19 booths.
