Horticulture department will provide financial aid for commercial crops and floriculture, said Assistant Director Sadananda.

Speaking at an awareness camp on National Horticulture Mission organised jointly by the Horticulture department, Chiko Bank and Raitha Mithrakoota, he said farmers can fetch good income, if horticulture crops are grown scientifically.

Taluk Panchayat Vice-President L V Basavaraj said farmers should go for organic farming.
Chiko Bank Manager Ramesh Pai said along with growing seasonal crops, farmers should go for mixed cropping.
