The environment in the education field and the job market has become highly competitive. Thus, the students, in order to achieve excellence should acquire knowledge, said Keregode Rangapura Sri Guruparadeshikendra Swamiji.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the national workshop held at Sri Paradeshi Composite Pre University College, near Keregodi.
Studies have shown that students from the rural areas are brighter than those from the urban areas. Moreover, the students instead of wasting their time should make best use of the hostel library, he added.
After delivering the talk he planted saplings in front of Sri Shankareshwara temple and suggested that they be taken care of.
