MLA B Nanjamari called on people to utilise the grants provided by the government for the rural development.

Speaking after inaugurating the new school building built under Sarvashiksha Abhiyana 2001-2010 , he said the scheme implemented by Vajpayee-led NDA Government has provided solution for several educational problems.

Honnavalli Gram Panchayat President H R Srikanta Murthy presided over the function. He said as Vajpayee-led NDA government gave importance to rural development rural schools and road have developed.  National highways have become 4-way highways and some of his projects are still relevant, he added.

Taluk Panchayat President H B Gowramma, Zilla Panchayat member Gangadharappa also spoke on the occasion.

Block Education Officer C Rangadhamaiah, Block Co-ordinating officer Swamy, Government Composite Pre-University College Principal M A Hussain, SDMC President  K N Chikkanna and gram panchayat members were present on the occasion.
