‘Moguls of Real Estate’, a book termed ‘the first of its kind’ by its author Manoj Namburu, was released in the City on Saturday. Mr K E C Raja Kumar, MD and CEO of UTI Ventures, released the book which is based on the business biographies of five leading Indian real estate developers. The climb to success of K P Singh, Niranjan Hiranandani, Sushil Anshal, Shapoor Pallonji Mistry and Bangalore’s Irfan Razack, is described vividly in the 270-page book priced at Rs 350.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Namburu, CMD of Alliance Group, said the idea to write the book occurred to him three years back when he realised there were no books written on the $ 12 billion-Indian real estate industry slated to touch $100 billion by 2015.
Mr Raja Kumar said the book rightly celebrates Indian leaders in real estate and endorses that entrepreneurship is not easy.
In the top slot after the IT industry was real estate—that was a ‘game of wealth creation’, said Mr Irfan Razack, MD, Prestige Constructions.
