National-level local bodies meet

Chikkaballapur,dhns: Twenty-five elected representatives from the Chikkaballapur district will be participating in the National -level conference of local bodies to be held at New Delhi, informed Zilla Panchayat President Chikkanarasimhaiah on Friday.

Moreover, the government has asked for the details of the representatives, who will be participating in the conference, to be furnished. Taluk panchayat presidents of the six taluks in the district, three members from every taluk, eighteen gram panchayat members and one zilla panchayat member will be participating in the conference.

KSRTC buses to ply from new bus stand

Chikkaballapur,dhns: All buses of the KSRTC will be commuting from the new bus stand, informed Divisional Controller of the Transport Office Jayaram.

Roads in the purview of the City Municipal Corporation are being broadened. Moreover, the district administration has taken stringent action inorder to ban the unofficial movement of the private buses. Against this background all the buses under the State Transport Corporation will be plying from the new bus stand, he said in a press release on Friday.

Training programme from Nov 26

Bangalore,dhns: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is conducting training programmes on Autocad-2004, programming and operation on CNC lathe and machining centre from November 26. Engineering graduates, diploma holders are eligible to take part in the programme. Annual conference from Nov 28

Bangalore,dhns: Little Flower Public School will hold a golden jubilee annual conference of The Association of Schools for the Indian Certificate from November 28 to 30. Over 750 delegates comprising  principals, headmasters and headmistresses of associated schools within India and abroad, visitors and observers will participate.
