She replied so when asked to comment on the speculation about her return to the BJP fold in the wake of party chief Rajnath Singh making positive signals in this regard. Bharti had earlier said that she would be making her stand known on the issue by November 25. Replying to a question, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said that Panjwar Guru Vishweshra had expressed concern over BJS candidates in Gujarat assembly polls and not on her return to the BJP.
Bharti also clarified that she did not sought two-days time to make her stand known on the return to the BJP, but it was for considering whether to field or not to field the BJS candidates in the Gujarat assembly polls. The BJS chief said that the party has a parliamentary board to take decisions on such matters. It needed at least two-days time to invite everybody to take a decision. When asked to comment on alleged corruption involving Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his wife in the truck purchase case, she said more than the Chief Minister, the BJP’s credibility was at stake.
