K Somashekar rounded off an excellent personal outing with an unbeaten half-century as Mysore Zone defeated Raichur Zone by eight wickets in the KSCA inter-zonal under-17 cricket tournament here on Saturday.

Leading by 34 on the first innings, Mysore bowled Raichur out for 136 in the second knock to give themselves a target of 103 for victory. Mysore reached their target in the 19th over, Somashekar remaining undefeated on a run-a-ball 52 (6x4).
