According to the police, some unidentified persons barged into Rajendra’s office on Thursday night and hacked him to death with lethal weapons. They locked the office from outside and absconded.

The incident came to light only after the employees opened the locks and entered inside, the police added.
The accused had thrown some Karnataka flags near the body of Rajendra to give the impression that some pro-Kannada activists eliminated Rajendra as he refused donations.
