The racket used to send threatening letters to people on the letterpad of non-existent KLF, demanding money.
“If you want to live a long life with your family take this very seriously and do not inform anyone about this or else our punishment is direct death,” read a letter of KLF, demanding Rs 30 lakh from a Bangalorean.
The police arrested three persons, employees of a security service company, Prime Corporate and Allied Services.
Afroz Ahmed Nehavi (40), a resident of Indiranagar and a native of Rawalpura in Jammu and Kashmir, started the racket, said the police.
