Mass go pooja celebrations will be held at the Surabhi Goshale in Channamallanahalli village of Madhugiri taluk.
A press note issued by the President of the Goshale Madhusudhan, here on Friday stated that the pooja celebrations will be held on Wednesday, November 7. The programme is being held during the Deepavali celebrations. At 2 pm, on that day, all the cows will be taken out in a procession, which will culminate at Shri Malleshwara Swamy and Shri Venkataramanaswamy Temple, at 4 pm and the mass cow pooja ceremony will be held.

Shri Veerabhadra Shivacharya Swamiji of Balehonnur Shakha Mutt, Shri Siddarabetta Kshethra, will grace the occasion. Swami Ramananda of Shri Ramakrishnashrama of Taggihalli will be performing the Goraksha Deekshe.
Assistant Commissioner Anbukumar, DySP P K Shivashankar, Tahsildar V Prasanna, Co-ordinator of the Akhila Karnataka Prani Daya Sangha Umesh and Karnataka Prantha Go Raksha Pramukh Manjunathaswamy will be the chief guests.
Former MLA Gangahanumaiah, KPCC member M G Shrinivasamurthy, member of the Zilla Panchayat S D Krishnappa, member of the Taluk Panchayat V H Hanumanthappa, President of the Garani Gram Panchayat Mallamma, Vice-President Madappa and others will be the special invitees to the event that day.
