Assembly Speaker Krishna on Friday said that he would soon give his decision on the petition seeking disqualification of former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and some other JD(S) legislators. Talking to reporters after meeting Governor Rameshwar Thakur at Raj Bhavan, Mr Krishna said that summons have been issued to JD(S) leaders H D Deve Gowda and M P Prakash in this connection and the next hearing is scheduled for November 17. MLA Vatal Nagaraj had sought the disqualification under the anti-defection law for aligning with BJP allegedly in violation of the decision of the JD(S).
