Live phone-in programme
Bangalore, DHNS: All India Radio is broadcasting a one hour live phone-in programme for senior citizens ‘Balu Belaku’ on Saturday between 2.35 to 3.35 pm.

Free training for youth
Bangalore, DHNS: Canara Bank Institute of Information Technology will conduct a free three month-long training programme from December 3 to empower youth from the weaker sections of the society in ‘System Administration’.
The entrance test for selection of candidates will be held on November 20. Interested candidates who have completed their SSLC, PUC, Degree, ITI and Diploma between the age group of 18 to 25 years (two years relaxation for SC/ST candidates) and whose family income does not exceed Rs 24,000 per annum can apply.

BEL to select apprentices
Bangalore, DHNS: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bangalore, has announced in Bangalore on Friday that it will hold walk-in interviews for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for Engineering graduates and Diploma holders at 8.30 am on November 14, 15 and 16, at the Centre for Learning and Development, Bharat Electronics Limited, Jalahalli, Bangalore – 560 013.
The monthly stipend payable is Rs 1,970 and Rs 1,400 for graduates and Diploma holders, respectively.
