City’s prestigious Leela Palace Hotel group has won three awards at the regional world travel awards (WTA) ceremony held in Bangalore on Friday. The Leela Palace Bangalore was crowned as the ‘The Leading Business Hotel of India’, The Leela Resort; Goa won the Leading resort of India award. Another important award, announced for the first time by the WTA, was ‘The Lifetime Achievement Award’ which was conferred on Leela group of Palaces & Resorts Chairman C P Krishnan Nair for his contribution to the industry.  Considered as ‘Oscars’ of the travel industry – The World Travel Asia, Australasia & Indian Ocean Awards Ceremony was held for the first time in India.
