Shekhar Suman is quite excited these days. Because after a long period of hibernation, he has at last signed a film, which he feels offers him a lot of scope to play a challenging role, besides an opportunity to display his six pack abs.
"The film One Fine Monday is a dark comedy directed by Manu Chaubey. The film revolves around a Don played by me, who decides to leave his dongiri and turn over a new leaf and be a white collared worker.
The film has Mumbai as the backdrop and deals with what happens to the Don and his sister in a span of four hours after the Don decides to turn over a new leaf, says Shekhar Suman excitedly, adding, "It is all about how the Don's decision is met with by his colleagues and his sister played by Gauri Karnik. Besides me and Gauri Karnik, One Fine Monday also has Raj Zutshi playing a very important role in it."
What is interesting about the project is that as per the new trend of making films without any heroine, One Fine Monday does not boast of any heroine, like Dhamaal, Chak De India etc.
A new fight club to join
