Shubh Diwali is an MP3 album that presents five hours of mantras, shlokas and aartis apt for all the ceremonies of the festival.

Madhuri Dixit is all set to make her comeback with Aaja Nachle for which Salim-Sulaiman have provided music, and Piyush Mishra, Jaideep Sahni and Asif Ali Beg- the lyrics.
Sunidhi Chauhan renders the rustic title track made of drum beats and shehnai with zest, indicative of it being a dance number for Mads to groove to. Kailash Kher, Richa Sharma and Salim Merchant team up for Show me your jalwa, a foot-tapping pop number. Ishq hua is a romantic track. Another pleasant one is Is pal sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan works his magic in O re piya, in a brilliant way. Sukhwinder Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan get together for Soniye mil ja, a celebration of youth and life. Koi patthar se na maare, a poetic 'sad song' by Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal and Sonu Nigam, differs in tone from the other zingy tracks. The disco track with English lyrics, Dance with me, by Sonia Saigal can be given a miss.
The OST of Aaja Nachle fails to be special, and can be termed average.

Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met has received a good response, and the director has made sure that the music of the film brings about the same opinion. The music is by the Pritam Chakraborty-Sandesh Shandilya duo with lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Mika's Punjabi number Mauja Hi Mauja is rocking the music charts currently, and why not. It's dynamic and infectious! Sonu Nigam's Nagada Nagada keeps the bhangra mood going.

Tum Se Hi is, a sweet number high on romance, by Mohit Chauhan- the lead vocalist of Silk Route. Ye Ishq Hai by Shreya Ghoshal shows off the singer’s versatility with different moods in songs. Shaan makes an appearance in Aao Milo Chalo (about a journey) for which Ustad Sultan Khan provides the alaap. The result is a beautiful fusion number.

Aaoge Jab Tum by Ustad Rashid Khan is classical in nature and stirring. Included are remixes for Tum Se Hi, Mauja Hi Mauja and Ye Ishq Hai, and an instrumental version of Tum Se Hi! The OST of Jab We Met is fresh and infused with variety.
