India’s Jyoti Randhawa, slipped to tied eighth while defending champion Jeev Milkha Singh leaped to tied 29th after the completion of the third round of the Volvo Masters here on Saturday.
Briton Justin Rose came back from a bad start at Valderrama to maintain his hold as he dropped three shots over the first two holes of the third round to allow his rival Padraig Harrington to wipe out a four-shot overnight lead.
However, Rose had fully repaired the damage by the 11th hole and by the end of the round was again four shots ahead of Harrington going into Sunday's final round, having carded a level-par 71 for a four-under 209 total.
Harrington, after a similar 71, his third of the week, now shares second place with Britain's Simon Dyson.
Cabrera in lead
Angel Cabrera grabbed a stranglehold of the Singapore Open lead, with the Argentine effortlessly moving four shots clear of the field following a solid third round one-under par 70, adds Reuters from Singapore. Cabrera finished the day nine-under for the tournament and is two shots clear of America's Jin Park overnight and after pulling six ahead by the turn with a bogey-free 34. Park went into the final round in second place on five-under, a shot clear of Britain's Lee Westwood, whose even par 70 included a triple-bogey and an eagle in the final two holes. Australia's Adam Scott shares fourth place on three-under with Fijian Vijay Singh.World number two Phil Mickelson was in tied 11th place. India's Shiv Kapur (69), Japan's Tetsuji Hiratsuka (73), South Africa's Keith Horne (74) and Australia's Gavin Flint (74) were tied for seventh at 1 under.
