Speaking to reporters  on Sunday, he said the channel reported he would withdraw the party’s support to the BJP. “But I never said so. Reporters of electronic media can go through the recorded clippings, I have been
misquoted,” he said.
Not to be outdone, the private channel, soon after his press conference, aired a statement recorded on Saturday, where Mr Kumaraswamy was seen categorically stating, “If BJP continues with its move to tarnish image of the JD(S) by referring to Deve Gowda’s suggestions for the smooth functioning of coalition, they do not enjoy my support.”
