The Department of Public Instruction will conduct re-examination for the candidates appeared for highschool teachers’ recruitment test at St Joseph High School, Gulbarga on Sunday, as some candidates boycotted the test. The re-examination will be held on November 11 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
On the second day of the high school teachers’ recruitment test, as many as 181 candidates were supposed to write the English examination at the Gulbarga centre. Some candidates walked out of the centre as there was a delay in distributing question papers. Hence, the re-examination will be conducted at the same centre, sources said.
Three papers
The day-long test was conducted for 3 papers - Science, Language and Physical Education. About 13,189 candidates appeared for Science, 33,115 appeared for language and 5772 appeared for Physical Education exam across the state. Each paper comprises 100 marks.
Final list
The final selection list will be announced by first week or second week of December, sources said.
