Baby found abandoned at rly station
DH News Service, Bangalore:
A three-month-old male baby was found abandoned at the City railway station on Monday.

A three-month-old male baby was found abandoned at the City railway station on Monday. It has been admitted to Nimhans by Sishu Mandir, a government organisation.

RPF Inspector K V Rathish Babu said, “The baby was found at the main entrance to the station. It has an abnormally large head. A passenger informed the RPF the child was lying there for sometime with none to take care of it.”

The baby has been handed over to an Okalipuram-based NGO, ‘Sathi’. Mr Ashok, in-charge of Sathi, said, “As  we  take care of children who are ten years and above, we handed over the child to Sishu Mandir. They have admitted the child to Nimhans.”
