High Court (HC) advocates MG Kumar and NP Amrutesh said that the underground parking facility proposed to be developed in the HC premises in Cubbon Park, was a blunder in the making.

Speaking at a press conference in Bangalore on Monday, they said that since the HC was going about the project despite opposition by majority of advocates, advocates had petitioned Chief Justice of India (CJI), seeking his intervention to stop the project.

A petition signed by 100 HC advocates is sent to CJI and SC judge Justice RV Raveendran, who is Administrative Judge for Karnataka HC, they said.
