The protesters said that their wages have not been revised, despite the order of the government to increase their wages on May 2006 and have been neglected a lot, they complained.
Once in six months
Added to this, payment is done once in six months causing misery to their lives and stressed to appoint those working since 20 years as permanent.
The families of these workers are in a miserable state due to this and complained the step-motherly attitude of the government towards solving the problems of the workers of the Forest Department.
Daily Wage Workers' Association leader Narasimhaiah addressing the protesters said that the government should take interest in solving their problems and see to that the wages are paid regularly.
District Unit President of the Association Narasimha Murthy, Secretary Subba Reddy, leaders Narasimha, Rajesh, Shivaraju, Shankar were also present during the protest.
