‘SC should ban political parties’ protest’

Turuvekere, dhns: Karnataka State Government Employees Association director (legal) B Sathyanarayan has said that it is really ironical that the political parties in the State who are trying to form the government after tasting power, are critisising the Governor.

In a release Sathyanarayan has stated that it is against the constitution for the political parties to hold rallies, protests and disrupt public life. By doing this they are causing untold miseries to the public and the public are criticising them. Hence this type of protests by the political parties should stop immediately, he added.

There is a Supreme Court directive that the government employees in spite of facing innumerable problems and suffering are not to hold protests. And if they still do it, it is against the law, he stated.

Likewise, the SC should also put a ban on all political parties, their leaders and people’s representatives from staging protests, declaring that it is against the law, urged Sathyanarayan in the release.
