Say what he may, what Sri Kumaraswamy has done is not acceptable to Karnataka public. He has gone back on his word and broken the confidence a major political party kept on him. When he entered into agreement with BJP 20 months back, he had agreed to hand over Chief Ministership to BJP on 2nd Oct 07 and taking the plea now that no one came to discuss with him has no substance. Deve Gowda's non-acceptance of Sri Yeddyurappa as the next CM has also no place, for it is up to BJP to decide who should be their nominee for CM. The same Sri Kumaraswamy who now says that the party and his father will decide on transfer of power is amusing for when he decided to join BJP 20 months back, he did not care for his father's opposition, nor was his party was with him full strength!
In short, greed for power has prevailed over ethics. Perhaps not keeping one's word, not believing in something called trust, is credentials of so called secularism and Jaan jaaye par vachan na jaaye , is outdated secularism! Somebody's greed is going to cost the State unnecessary expenditure of holding an election, but then who cares!
