Indians returned a rich haul at the World Badminton Championship for Disabled which concluded at Bangkok on Sunday.
Gujarat’s Parul D Parmar led the charge by grabbing gold in women’s singles and doubles in the Standing Lower (class 3) category. Parmar paired with Charanjeet Kaur of Punjab to take home the doubles honours.
The duo of Raj Kumar of Punjab and Rakesh Pandey of Haryana clinched silver in the men’s doubles event in Standing Upper - class 5 category.
It was double delight for the duo as they won a bronze each in the singles event as well.
