Nokia unveils its new N series set
New Delhi, UNI:
With the growth of mobile entertainment segment, which currently accounts for $15,000 million, leading handset maker Nokia, on Tuesday, launched its Nokia N81 and N95 8GB priced at Rs 26,249 and Rs 35,059.

Addressing the growing Indian entertainment market, the company has specifically launched two new models where entertainment will be the key features. These two models — Nokia N81 and N95 8GB — come with a full-length movie Sholay.

The N81 also comes pre-loaded with 10 English music videos, Bollywood and Hollywood songs as well as 10 comedy scenes from Bollywood movies across genres. The Nokia N95 8GB comes with display screen of 2.8 inches and up to 8GB of flash memory, which is optimised for enjoying videos and playing games.

GPS features


The N81 also comes equipped with Assisted-Global Positioning System (A-GPS) for navigation. The company has been focussing on N series range as it provides about 30 per cent of the global revenues.
“The Indian value-added service (VAS) market is worth $63,000 million and constitutes 37 per cent of the 28,000 million non-SMS mobile data revenues,” said Nokia India Business Director (Multimedia) Vineet Taneja.
