The quality education should be given with competitive spirit and students should imbibe qualities of researches, Vice Chancellor of Tumkur University Dr O Anantharamaih told the students of PG classes.
He was speaking after the inauguration of science classes in the Government Science College in Tumkur. Post-graduate courses in Physics and Chemistry has been sanctioned to the college from this academic year.
The VC said the college would be included with the University colleges. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Chikkahanumaiah said, the courses was introduced to help the students from rural areas.
He said, the experts in subject would take classes on these two subjects. Principal of the Government Arts College Prof Gangadhariah and the College Development Committee member Annapoorna Venkatananjanappa were also present on the occasion.
