Man kills daughter
A man in Queens of New York City allegedly beat his one-year-old daughter to death because she would not stop crying, according to a US prosecutor, reports Xinhua from New York.
Peter O'Keeffe (35) faces second-degree murder charges for the death of his daughter in their South Ozone Park home. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Police say the girl's mother came home on Saturday and found the baby unconscious. The girl was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where she was proclaimed dead.

She had appeared in court on numerous occasions for assaulting her own staff members. Earlier this year, she was even sentenced to community service after she pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless assault. She had flung her mobile at her maid.
