Governor extends greetings

Governor Rameshwar Thakur has greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Deepavali. In his message, Mr Thakur said: “Deepavali is the time to display our rich and varied culture. The heritage of India through ancient times is a dynamic one which expresses itself in many forms and occasions like festivals are the most likely time for such celebrations.”

“May Deepavali be a harbinger of happiness, amity, togetherness, all-around progress and development,” he added.
